Graph progress update
25. May 2025
We got accepted by the test flight program from Apple quite recently - after getting rejected twice - and I just felt the need to celebrate this. So I thought why not share where our graph view is at the moment. You might remember the little "Graph window" that we had in our first versions together with the select view, well that went away together with the select view but I think you will enjoy the new view even more.
We made it its own tab in the new unified content view and when opened it now covers the whole window edge to edge. We still use Grape in the backend and created some overlays to track clicks, drags and zooms. The main functionality right now - besides being beautiful - is the ability to launch nodes in a new way compared to search.
This is a very exciting phase for us. We are now able to invite some of you to try out Nodes and gather real-world feedback. For all of you who have access to the Alpha, here are some things you can look forward to besides the graph view in the next releases.
Node to Node linking
Pdf Viewer
Latex integration
Lossless Export/ Import
Swipe with two fingers to switch between documents Thank you for being part of this journey with us:)
Also we have a Insta now where we share some behind the scenes footage - nodes.app
